Morning Meeting

Every morning we will have a morning meeting. This is what our morning meetings look like:

Good Morning Song: Shake a Hand

Student of the Day activities
1. Student's name is shown on sentence strip.
2. Student reconstructs his/her name on pocket chart.
3. Class chants SOTD's name.
4. Identify letters and sounds

Morning Message
1. A letter to students.
2. There will be an interactive aspect of the message.
3. As the year goes on, the morning message becomes more student centered rather than teacher directed.
